The power of social media is once again connecting people from all over.

A Purple Heart was discovered at a flea market in Missouri. The piece of history belonged to the family of Sergeant Ralph Greeley who was a Nebraskan WWII veteran who was killed in France.

The discovery was posted to social media and within an hour it had thousands of shares when Greeley’s nephew saw the post.

A few days later, the family was reunited with the medal in Missouri who turned the Purple Heart into a local museum.
