The trial for a Durango father accused of killing his son could be moved out of La Plata County.
Mark Redwine’s trial is set to begin this June.
However, lawyers claim media coverage could make for an impartial jury.
Redwine is accused of killing his 13-year-old son Dylan in 2012 during a court-ordered visit.
Dylan’s partial remains were found the following summer according to the Durango Herald.
Before opening statements, Redwine’s attorney will have the chance to vet potential jurors.
If they determine the jury is already swayed, Judge Wilson says he will consider a change of venue.
