Netflix viewers may have to part ways with ‘Friends’ and ‘The Office’

Despite the theme song, tv show ‘Friends’ may not always be there for you and the same goes for ‘The Office’. 

According to The Wall Street Journal, those two legendary sitcoms may soon disappear from Netflix. This comes as NBCUniversal is getting ready to debut its own streaming service and the network is reportedly interested in taking ‘Friends’ and ‘The Office’ away from Netflix once their contracts expire in 2021.

Both shows were huge hits on NBC during their original runs. CNN reported back in January that NBCUniversal plans to launch their own streaming service in 2020.

The service will reportedly also offer the “Jurassic World” franchise. Disney has also announced its own streaming service later this year.
