A Durango father accused of killing his son is asking for some evidence to be tossed out of his trial.
Mark Redwine is accused of killing his 13-year-old son Dylan in 2012 during a court-ordered visit. Now, Redwine’s attorneys are asking a judge to exclude evidence from cadaver-sniffing dogs.
They’re questioning the accuracy and consistency of canines trained to sniff for human remains. No decision has been made yet.
Redwine’s trial is set to begin in June.
