Even after his death, the public is still learning more about former president George H.W. Bush.
It was recently revealed that the 41st president spent ten years donating money to the Compassion International non-profit, eventually sponsoring a 7-year-old boy named Timothy.
Funds sent wend towards Timothy’s education, extracurricular activities, and his meals.
Bush used the pseudonym G. Walker and had his letters carefully screened to keep it all a secret.
He would drop hints into his letters saying he had been to the White House and met lots of celebrities but Timothy never found out who his sponsor was until he graduated from the program.
