The oats in a popular granola bar brand will no longer be billed as “100 percent natural” to settle a lawsuit.

General Mills says it’s removing the designation from its Nature Valley products after three consumer groups said the bars contain traces of the pesticide in Roundup.

The amount is below the maximum recommended by the EPA, but the groups say the labeling is deceptive.

General Mills says it’s confident in the accuracy of its labels, but agreed to the settlement to avoid the cost and distraction of litigation.
