Automaker Ford has created a special kennels as a way to help dogs cope with loud noises especially fireworks.
The company explains that a built-in audio system emits opposing frequencies that help quiet the area.
If microphones located inside the kennel detect noises such as fireworks, the system emits opposing frequencies that can cancel out or significantly reduce noise which will minimize your pet’s stress.
The idea was inspired by the noise-canceling technology Ford uses in its Edge SUV.
No word yet on if the prototype will soon be available for purchase.
The kennel is the first in a line of initiatives or ‘Interventions’ that will use automotive knowledge to help solve day-to-day problems.
