Experts warn of more online bank outages

Experts say more online banking outages could be on the way. The recent Wells Fargo outage left millions of customers unable to access their accounts, which caused widespread panic.

Experts don’t expect this to be a one-time thing and advise consumers to get ready for the next tech failure.

“The government shutdown and this Wells Fargo incident kind of gave us a little preview of coming attractions,” said banking expert Matthew Schulz.

Experts suggest keeping cash on hand, setting up a backup bank account and always creating strong passwords to guard against fraud.
