Durango nonprofits to donate $100,000 towards local businesses

Nonprofits in Durango are planning to put $100,000 back into the local economy.

According to The Durango Herald, The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado raised more than $400,000 following the 416 Fire.

Of the money raised, some is going to help displaced families and to employees whose jobs were interrupted.

The Community Emergency Relief Fund will receive $100,000 for nonprofits to spend at local businesses.
