A new study reveals the shocking things the average American would give up in order to gain a few extra hours of sleep.
According to a new study conducted by “OnePoll,” more Americans are getting less sleep.
The average person reports getting a little over six hours of sleep instead of the recommended eight hours. Now, more people are willing to go the distance to get more shuteye.
Analysts say out of the 2,000 people surveyed a quarter would be willing to exclusively eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at lunch, 17% would stub their toe every morning, a shocking 14% would even go to jail for a week.
The survey also revealed 24% would give up chocolate and 18% would live without a cellphone all in the name of a year’s worth of sleep.
