The last time the Red Sox played the Dodgers in the World Series was in 1916, the year Mary Latowski was born.
Now, more than a century later, she’s experiencing all the action as the teams meet again.
At 102-yeas-old Mary has seen good teams and bad ones.
She’s also seen a lot of legends.
“I’ve seen Ted Williams, Jim Rice, Carlton Fisk, Carl Yaz, Freddy Lynn, I’ve seen them all,” said Latowski. “This is the best team I’ve ever see. Watching the Red Sox for over 90 years, this is really the best team.”
Thursday night, Mary was six rows up from home plate as the Sox won.
She’s hoping for a World Series win this weekend.
