VALLES CALDERA, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Wildlife Federation is organizing a camping event at the Valles Caldera.
It’s part of the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service.
The Valles Caldera National Preserve has 54 miles of hiking trails, 30 miles of streams and plenty of hunting opportunities.
Families are encouraged to register for the camping event Friday, August 26th.
There will be several other activities including archery and fly-tying.
