A suspected killer is asking a judge to toss out his confession.

Wilfred Salas was found beaten to death near Lomas and Edith in December 2016. For months, the case went unsolved.

That’s until Frank Frometa, who was hospitalized after getting hit by a car, told a nurse and detectives he had killed someone and wanted to clear his conscience.

According to a criminal complaint, Frometa said the two got into a fight and he hit Salas with a hammer when Salas pulled out a knife.

Frometa is now asking a judge to toss out his statements saying that because of his medical condition, and a language barrier, detectives misunderstood what he said.
