Both seniors and youth alike enjoyed a day of fellowship and dancing.
The City of Albuquerque hosted a multi-generational sock hop Sunday afternoon at the North Valley Senior Center.
Adults and kids were encouraged to hit the dance floor all while raising money for local non-profits.
“We’ve both been playing music from older generations and younger generations and watching the shared experience. The music is different but the joy is universal,” said Elizabeth Kistin Keller, First Lady of Albuquerque.
Sunday’s event was part of the City’s One ABQ challenge. For more information, click here.
