United World College Using Education to Unite People Across the Globe

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The mission of the United World College is to use education as a force to unite people from all over the globe with different backgrounds, ethnicity, race, religion and so on.

And at the United World College Red Cross Nordic, there are 200 students from 90 countries represented. 

Justin Bloomfield has been studying at the United World College Red Cross Nordic for the past 3 months.

He was awarded the Shelby Davis Scholarship, worth $100,00 USD for a two-year boarding school experience at one of the finest institutions in Norway.

United World College provides exposure to people from all over the world, engenders understanding and acceptance. i.e. strong relationships with Chinese, Russian, Pakistani, Somali-Kenyans, and shows the commonality between us all.

The education is an IB broad-based curriculum with high academic standards, with many attending prestigious world universities.

This program also provides opportunities to engage in sustainable activities, with a focus on humanitarian, and community service. i.e. United World Capital Investment club promotes sustainable and ethical investing.
