Support local STEM students and robotics teams at Bots ‘N Brews event

STEM leaders from New Mexico are excited following the Vex World Competition where they won the Inspire Award. The R-4 Robotics team took home the honors that are given to only five out of the 580 teams from around the world that compete.

Be Greater Than Average LLC, is building STEM leaders of the future. It is reaching out to the community and asking for the support to advance STEM enrichment opportunities by attending the ‘Bots ‘N Brews’ fundraiser or by becoming one of its corporate partners. The event takes place at Explora! and will include an evening of robot competitions, pizza, and beer.

The goal is to provide training for students and support for organizations that are making valuable contributions to increase the number of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEM Career Readiness Opportunities for students. It strives to offer students a competitive advantage that links their potential to a strong and successful future that leads them into a STEM career.

The money raised at this event will be used to support STEM summer camps and local robotics teams. Those who attend must be 21 and older and will have to present an ID.

Bots ‘N Brews takes place Friday, May 10, 2019, at Explora! from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
