South Valley Pride Day is all about embodying your roots

Mornings

Celebrating your roots and where you’re from. That’s the idea behind the long-standing, annual South Valley Pride Day.

This family-friendly event includes plenty of fun for kids and families with jumpers, a car show, great food, live entertainment with headliner Chevel Shepherd, arts and crafts vendors and more. There will be 12 outstanding citizens who will be honored as well.

Everything will kick off with a parade at 11 a.m. that ends at Westside Community Center, 1250 Isleta Blvd SW. There will be a park and ride service from the Rio Grande High School student parking lot, 2300 Arenal Rd. SW.
