Program to help students improve academic performance across the board

Mornings

If you have a son or daughter between the 7th and 12th grade, there’s a special program you might want them to take advantage of.

The Aces Program, which is being offered at UNM, offers ACT Prep, Math, and English classes on Saturday mornings, with the goal of improving academic performance across the board.

All of the instructors are volunteers who will give students the tools necessary for a brighter future; teaching them math and English skills, preparing them for the ACT test, and being positive examples so that these students see the benefits of achieving academically and having a successful career.

Each course meets for seven weeks, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. each Saturday, and costs $50.

The fee pays for the textbooks and supplies that will be given to every student.
