Pictures of Hope reveals children’s dreams

Mornings

The saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” couldn’t be truer when it comes to Pictures of Hope. The non-profit foundation shows underprivileged and homeless children that they aren’t forgotten by revealing their dreams to them through the art of photography. Children and youth will see the photographs captured during their tutorial. An exhibition will debut in which all of the kids will sign their work and receive special gifts.

Linda has authored, co-authored, or provided photography for a number of titles including her latest book, The Queen Next Door, which is available in September.

Linda Solomon is a photojournalist and founder of Pictures of Hope. She is a nationally recognized and award-winning in her field. Her bio reveals she has divided her career between capturing the most famous personalities and teaching others to express themselves through photography. So far, more than a million cameras have been donated to children.

The exhibit is Tuesday, May 7 at the APS Center at Rio Grande and Honcho 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
