New Mexico seed loan program helps people with disabilities work independently

Helping people out in a time of need.

That’s what the New Mexico Seed Loan program overseen by the San Juan Center for Independence is doing.

They provide loans for business equipment to help people with disabilities work independently.

The loans can be used to purchase business equipment, for training to use the equipment, extended warranties, cost of maintenance and repairs and the delivery of the equipment and supplies.

This is a statewide program overseen by San Juan Center for Independence, with oversight by the Governor’s Commission on Disability.

The lending partner for the program is Accion.
