National Museum of Nuclear Science & History Taking Part in Nuclear Science Week

If you’re looking to get your kids involved in a winter camp of some kind, look no further.

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host “Science is Everywhere” Winter Day Camp 2018 for children who Pre-K through 7th grade.

Kids can experience the wonders of science in one-day sessions, December 27-28 and January 2-4.

Sessions include “Code of the Robot, Jr.,” “Mini Marvels,” “Mysteries of Matter” “Unravel the Code” and many more!

This week is also Nuclear Science Week, and to celebrate, the Nuclear Museum is hosting a Nuclear Science Week movie night at the KiMo Theater on Wednesday, October 17.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event is free and open to the public.

The American Nuclear Society will premier its Navigating Nuclear: Energizing Our World virtual field trip, and there will be a showing of CNN Films: Pandora’s Promise.
