ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Local youth STEM enthusiasts are demonstrating that they can "be greater than average".
STEM done well should be fun and challenging and that is what the Science Olympiad has been doing for many years. Local students who have represented Albuquerque well over the past years as National competitors in the Science Olympiad Competition stopped by KRQE to demonstrate some of their "greater than average" inventions. The students just returned home with the honor of the middle school achieving 38th out of 60 teams, and the high school division finishing 36th out of 60.
These students are good examples of making learning real so that it can be fun and given the right kind of support they will achieve things that they didn’t even dream possible!
