Kirtland Air & Space Fiesta set for May 18 for family fun

Great family entertainment soars to new heights at the “Kirtland Air and Space Fiesta,” an air show featuring the air force Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Team. There will be displays and hands-on demonstrations by the likes of NASA, Virgin Galactic, and the U.S. Air Force Space Command, F.I.R.S.T. Robotics, Sandia National Laboratories, Air Force Research Laboratory, and many more.

The Space & STEM pavilion displays and demonstrations give young people a chance to see and experience the best of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The best part is, this is a free event.
Scheduled aircraft displays include A-10/C Thunderbolt “Warthog,” AC-130W Stinger II, B-52 Stratofortress, C-17 Globemaster III, two F-35 Lightning II’s and many more.
