Free screening of Charm City highlights consequences of city violence

Mornings

Filmed during three years of unparalleled violence in Baltimore, Charm City delivers a powerfully candid portrait of those on the frontlines.

With grit, fury, and compassion, a group of police, citizens, community leaders, and government officials grapple with the consequences of violence and try to reclaim their cityโ€™s future. Several themes from the film resonate with the International District in ABQ.

So New Mexico PBS, Councilor Pat Davis, and Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins are presenting a free screening of Charm City for everyone to attend.

Following the screening, there will be a Town Hall Discussion with Albuquerque City Councilor, Pat Davis and Bernalillo County Commissioner, Maggie Hart Stebbins.

Topics will include trauma-informed care, new police practices and new interventions in Albuquerque.
