Explora is hostnig a special event called the Science of Beer. Beer is an important economic driver in our city and state, and it’s a tasty beverage.
One fact that is overlooked is just how much science goes into making beer. Explora’s mission is to get people interested and informed about the science that surrounds us in everything we do, even enjoying a cold Albuquerque craft brew.
With the help of Marble Brewery, Southwest Grape and Grain, and local home brewing clubs, Explora will dedicate a night to exploring the Science of Beer!
The Science of Beer happens at Explora on Friday, February 22nd from 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for General Admission, $12 for Explora members. This is a 21+ event.
Marble Brewing will be giving talks on the science behind brewing, Southwest Grape and Grain, the Dukes of Ale, and the Worthogs will be giving talks aimed at home brewers, or those interested in becoming homebrewers. Marble will also be giving out samples and selling pints.
Explora educators will be doing amazing experiments and, of course, the museum will be open for exploration while guests enjoy all the beer-related activities.
There will be food trucks and tons of fun. For more information, click here.
