DWI Resource Center using data to help find solutions

The DWI Resource Center provides data-driven, research-based solutions to reduce DWI death and injury.

They also provide all victims of crime resources to help them assert their Constitutional rights in the criminal justice system. The DWI crash rate in New Mexico has remained the same for the past eight to ten years.

Of all motor vehicle crash deaths, DWI deaths have accounted for 40% of that total. DWI arrests are down in Bernalillo County. They’ve also seen a drop in DWI arrests from 4,100 in 2013 to 2,500 in 2017.

The DWI Resource Center has the data that could be used to problem-solve and research to help direct us to solutions. For more information on the work they are doing, click here.
