ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — TONI&GUY Academy and APS have teamed up for the sixth year in a row to award three Cosmetology scholarships, valuing $10,000, to graduating APS athletes.

The 2018 scholarship recipients will be presented their awards at the annual TONI&GUY Student Soiree. This annual charity hair and fashion show is a themed theatrical production featuring hair, make-up, fashion, music and dance.  This year the theme is “Alice, Return To Wonderland” and will be held at the African American Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 3 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20. VIP tickets are $40 and include preferred seating plus a TONI&GUY swag bag. Tickets are available at TONI&GUY Academy in ABQ Uptown, online at eventbrite.com or may be purchased at the door before show time.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of NM, a local nonprofit organization providing free information, education and support services for those who are impacted by blood cancer. LLSNM advocates for lifesaving policy changes at the state and federal level to ensure access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
