Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia in older adults. It is estimated that 5.3 million Americans suffer from the disease which can in most instances be a lonely time for those it affects.

The Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter offers many free services and resources to caregivers and families facing the disease and holds fundraising events like the “UnFOREgettable Golf Classic” that help further research for this disease that has no cure – as well as allow them to continue providing free services.

Held annually in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Alzheimer’s Association’s UnFOREgettable Golf Classic is the premier golf tournament to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Those attending can expect catered meals and beverages, free cart rental, goodie bags, raffles, and prizes. The event takes place May 13, 2019, at the Tanoan Country Club at 8 a.m. Golfers
