Albuquerque Museum presents 3rd Thursday, a free event featuring live music and performances, hands-on art activities for kids and adults, gallery exhibits open for viewing, food and adult drink specials at Slate at the Museum, and extended hours for evening shopping at the Museum Store.
This month’s 3rd Thursday focuses on the new exhibition “Visions of the Hispanic World,” which includes over 200 of the most exceptional works spanning over 3,000 years in the collections of the Hispanic Society of America.
Visions of the Hispanic World tells a rich story of cultures settling in Spain and bringing the best and most innovative elements of their heritage to the Iberian Peninsula and the Spanish colonies.
This exhibit allows New Mexicans to celebrate world cultures through exceptional artistic masterpieces of a nation linked through history to many who live here.
