2-Day Career Event Aims to Find People Jobs

If you’ve been job hunting, but aren’t having any luck, there’s an event you won’t want to miss.

Bernalillo County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada and Albuquerque City Councilor, Klarissa Peña are sponsoring a two-day career event offering job searching advice, a free haircut and a job fair.

Day one of the event is on September 11, featuring 20-minute workshops designed to help job seekers spruce up their resume, interviewing skills, and appearance.

Job seekers who sign up for the seminars will be eligible for a complimentary haircut, courtesy of The Avenue Academy.
