Increased runoff has occurred in the Buzzard Fire scar from monsoonal rains which has made Forest Road 94 impassable in the Five Springs Canyon area.
There is currently no access from NM Hwy 12 at Apache Creek Campground to Collins Park.
Alternate routes to Collins Park are from NM Hwy 12 at Horse Springs, south on the Bursum Road to Y Canyon Road then to Collins Park.
