Moms raising money after items stolen from Victoria Martens’ birthday party

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Three Albuquerque moms are raising money to pay for stuff that was stolen during a community birthday party for a girl who was murdered.

Felicity Flippen and her friends hosted the event for Victoria Martens at Mariposa Park Sunday.

Thousands came out to remember the 10-year-old killed last week on her birthday.

The mothers say someone took off with two tables and more than two dozen chairs.

The women now owe $1,300 to a vendor.
