Missing Albuquerque man found dead in the Gila


SILVER CITY, N.M. (KRQE) – A missing Albuquerque man has been found dead in the Gila National Forest.

According to the Silver City Daily Press, rescuers found the 24-year-old’s body Saturday along Highway 15.

Authorities say he disappeared from his parents’ home on June 17.

Two pistols were found next to his body, but his death has not been confirmed a suicide.
