Bernalillo County Commissioners will be discussing the motion to approve a minimum wage increase from $8.85 per hour to $9.05 per hour.
That’s a 20 cent increase.
The minimum wage increase was put in place in two increments of 50 cents.
The first in 2013, the second in 2014.
The ordinance requires an annual cost of living increase based on the price index.
That would go into effect January 1.
