Mesilla to consider resolution opposing president’s border wall

MESILLA, N.M. (KRQE) – Following the lead of Las Cruces, the Mesilla Board of Trustees could take a stand against President Trump’s proposed border wall. Monday night, trustees will consider adopting a resolution opposing the border wall. The resolution is similar to one passed by the Las Cruces City Council last month. Both state that a wall would harm the area’s economy by hurting its relationship with Mexico.
