Two men were arrested on their way into Texas from New Mexico with 117 animals in a U-Haul truck.
Deputies say they were tipped off about the truck and stopped it in Farewell, Texas. That’s about 10 miles from Clovis.
Deputies say inside the U-Haul were animals including 38 goats and 58 chickens.
It was 95 degrees inside the truck, and deputies say the animals did not have any water.
