Memorial held for Brittany Johnson, family asks for donations to search crews

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A memorial service will be held on Thursday for Brittany Johnson.

The 24-year-old was missing nearly a week when Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office found her body at the bottom of a cliff south of the Sandia Crest parking lot. Investigators think her death was an accident and she fell.

In lieu of flowers, her family is asking people to donate to search and rescue teams that helped look for her. To donate to Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council or Cibola Search and Rescue, click on the links.
