Mark’s Thursday Evening Weather Report

The powerful ridge of high-pressure which has locked moisture out of the southwest over the past few days will slowly flatten. That flattening will allow for a continued warming trend across the state as temperatures top out in the mid 60’s in the Albuquerque metro area. Records are likely to fall across the east side of the state where highs will be near 80° by Saturday. Our next chance of a storm holds off until the middle of next week.
