A better storm crop will set up over the state on Friday with widespread showers across western sections and the northern mountains. Here in the Albuquerque area we will have a chance for scattered showers and highs in the low 80s. As the holiday weekend begins, the atmosphere will start to dry out. Scattered showers are still possible on Saturday but storms are less likely Sunday and Monday. It does look like the monsoon flow could set back up for the middle of next week.
