Marble, local breweries donate $22K to Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund

News

Marble Brewery along with other local breweries have raised thousands of dollars for the victims of a deadly wildfire in California.

Marble was one of six New Mexico breweries to take a Sierra Nevada recipe and make a specialty brew called Resilience IPA. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund.

Friday, the brewery handed over the proceeds, $22,000.

“I am so proud to be a part of this and that we came together, not just Marble but 1,400 other breweries who all just wanted to do the right thing and help out our fellow humans,” said Head Brewer of Marble Brewery John Carroll.

The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history killing at least 86 people and displacing more than 14,000 families.
