Manhattan Project exhibit to open at Albuquerque science museum

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History will host a new exhibit about the super secret experiments from the Manhattan Project.

It’s called the “Critical Assembly.” It’s an installation by American sculptor Jim Sanborn. It includes original electronic instruments, hardware, furniture, tools and materials used by Los Alamos National Laboratory during the 1940’s.

The exhibit will be on display Feb. 4 through Oct. 15.
