The man who killed a New Mexico State University student after he wasn’t invited to a party is heading to prison.

A judge this week sentenced 23-year-old Daniel Aguilera to 20 years in prison for the 2015 murder of Andres Rojo in Artesia.

Part of that sentence was for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, for injuring Rojo’s brother.
