The man who caused chaos in the East Mountains and burned down a playground equipment company has pleaded guilty.
Marcio Lujan was arrested last May after he tried to rob a restaurant, stole a car, then barricaded himself inside Exerplay along North Highway 14.
They say he lit the building on fire before surrendering. Thursday in court, Lujan pleaded to arson, auto theft and aggravated assault.
Under a plea deal, he’s facing a maximum of six years when he’s sentenced. That will happen after he finishes a substance abuse treatment program.
He’ll also have to pay restitution to the victims.
