A drunk driver is facing 15 years behind bars for killing a motorcyclist.

Paulo Vega-Mendoza rear-ended a motorcycle at the intersection of Airport Road and Camino Entrada in 2017. Paul Padilla, 63, died days after the crash.

Vega-Mendoza fled on foot after the crash, but police eventually caught him. In court Monday, he pleaded guilty to a vehicular homicide charge.
