Man involved in violent crime against homeless victim to be sentenced


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man involved in a horrific crime against the homeless is facing more than three decades behind bars.

Anderson Humphrey was convicted Wednesday of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and other charges.

Humphrey forced the victim to strip naked and clean up his own blood before police arrived.

Humphrey has a criminal history out of Texas for theft and drug trafficking.

He’s being sentenced as a habitual offender and faces 31 years in prison.
