Man faces life in prison for kidnapping ex-girlfriend

News

LAS VEGAS (KRQE) – A man who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from her Las Vegas, Nev. apartment and drove her to New Mexico faces life in prison.

Earlier this year, Espanola Police pulled over the van and found the victim chained to the floor inside. Jack Morgan, 32, was arrested.

Police say he had stalked the victim and planned the kidnapping. He was convicted this week on kidnapping charges and faces life in prison when he’s sentenced in March.

A second suspect in the case, 19-year-old Samuel Brown, who identifies as a woman and goes by “Sophie,” pleaded guilty and will be sentenced in February.
