Man admits to terrorizing Albuquerque businesses

A man who terrorized Albuquerque businesses and its customers admitted Friday to robbing nearly 50 businesses at gunpoint.

Paul Salas was originally charged with 231 counts for everything from armed robbery to child abuse for putting kids who were in the businesses in danger.

Friday he pleaded guilty to seven counts of armed robbery.

Salas faces up to 20 years in prison.
