Man accused of wreaking havoc at Albuquerque daycare

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – There was chaos at a southwest Albuquerque daycare Tuesday.

According to a criminal complaint, 33-year-old Erroll Modesto-Hernandez jumped a fence at the Goldstar Academy Day Care Tuesday afternoon. That’s were eight kids were playing.

Police say Hernandez yelled profanities at the children and their care-taker. She was able to get all the children safely inside, but Hernandez didn’t give up, beating on the outside of the building.

He then made his way to the roof, where he busted out three skylights.

He’s being held on $45,000 cash or surety bond.
