ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The man accused of murdering Albuquerque Police Department officer Daniel Webster was sentenced to another 18 years in federal prison.Davon Lymon was sentenced Monday for federal drug and gun charges.
The charges stem from an incident two weeks before the shooting when undercover ATF agent bought heroin and a revolver from Lymon.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office argued for 50 years, Lymon’s attorney argued for six. The judge did order that the 18 years be served after he finishes serving 20 years for being a felon with a gun.
Lymon was convicted of that charge last year.
That gun was the one used to kill Officer Daniel Webster in October of 2015.
Lymon is still awaiting trial on the actual murder charges where he faces a potential life sentence without the possibility of parole.
