The driver accused of killing two undocumented immigrants in a crash while fleeing from Border Patrol agents, has been identified.

Robert Acevedo, a U.S. citizen from El Paso, is facing two counts of vehicular homicide following the crash earlier this month.

Border Patrol says Acevedo refused to pull over, so they used a tire deflation device on his minivan, which swerved and rolled.

It turned out there were 11 people in the van, two of whom died. Acevedo has a long history in Texas, with arrests for crimes including drug offenses and auto burglary.
